ESG Assessment

The investment team is responsible for analysing stewardship and material ESG considerations for the investable universe and the portfolios. Evenlode believes ESG credentials are important risk factors, and that engagement can lead to positive outcomes in the portfolios, the health of the investee company, and the wider society.

A dedicated team of stewardship analysts prepares detailed ESG risk assessments for every potential investment. Research is conducted in-house and through active engagement, supplemented with information from external providers. This assessment, and the resultant proprietary scoring, is fundamental to portfolio risk management and directly informs investment decisions, including maximum position size.

Engagement and Stewardship

Engagement is a core component of Evenlode’s stewardship process and they take an active and transparent approach with investee companies. All engagement is recorded and incorporated into their proprietary research platform, EDDIE.

The granularity of the engagement tracker allows the team to perform Engagement Success Analysis to improve engagement strategies and planning. In this way, Evenlode promotes positive change and protects long-term shareholder value as an integral part of their investment discipline.

Evenlode votes every proxy and does not rely on external recommendations. For best practice, transparency, and investor information, Evenlode provides details of votes against management.

Reporting

Evenlode makes stewardship and active ownership information readily available.

Responsible Investment and Portfolio Emissions are published annually; Stewardship and Voting Record Reports are available quarterly.

Evenlode has an ambitious Net Zero commitment of 100% of AUM by 2050 or sooner in material sectors, and are one of the few asset managers to include Scope 3 emissions in their portfolio decarbonisation reference target.

Article 8 disclosures are available for Dublin domiciled funds of the global strategies.
